PIRATE POINT ISSUE #2 - SEPTEMBER 2025

PIRATE POINT is a queer punk fanzine centered around the LGBTQIA+ Battletech community, and was created to provide a place for fans of stompy robots to express ourselves. BattleTech is a fandom rife with media and creativity, every game board is a story, some of them even show up in Shrapnel Magazine, produced by CGL. 

People make so many cool things, and so much of it is lost to old cloud drive folders or the sea of content, seen and scrolled past to be forgotten. We made PIRATE POINT to give the fandom a chance to make something, anything, and have it enshrined in something real and tangible.
PIRATE POINT is 100% free, made by fans for fans, and has no affiliation with Topps or Catalyst Game Labs.

PIRATE POINT Issue #2 is our followup to the premier in March. We got way more interest than we expected for the first issue and a lot of great submissions from new writers for the second, and twice as many model submissions!

Available in Digital and Print-Ready versions. The Print-Ready edition has been constructed for US Letter and folds as a 5.5x8.5 booklet in the spirit of a true punk zine. Instructions for printing have been included as a separate download. An Accessibility copy was intended for initial release, but has been delayed due to technical difficulties. Hoping to get this up in the next week or so.
